The towering heights of the Catalina Mountains will hold heavy, moisture-laden clouds until they give the thirsty mountain a nice soaking. Some of the rain will run down creeks and streams to this collection point called Rose Canyon Lake. At the far end of the Rose Canyon campground, the Lake offers visitors a chance to fish and stroll in a place full of birds and animals.
