Even after all the trails Fred and I have hiked, we found the Yakso Falls Trail was special. It starts directly across from the entrance to Lake-in-the-Woods campground and winds through a stand of firs. As I remember it was a very warm day and, while not a difficult trail, the forest's dappled shade was much appreciated.
