Until this point, I thought I was looking at a massive formation but now can see it is really a delicate, almost fragile, sculpture in sandstone. The trail eventually leads to the right side of the wall and down the other side. The height of this wall is incredible - at least thirty feet tall! I wonder how long it took to make this amazing structure and just how long it might last. Golden Wall trail has been very challenging and a great treat for me.
