Our route wasn't a hardcore 4X4 trail but there were challenges like this roadway disappearing in a meadow. Sparsely traveled, our primitive route passed through sunny, upland meadows, often visited by wildlife, and stands of oak, aspen, and Ponderosa pine. Some meadows would make a great campsite but check with Kaibab National Forest first for dispersed camping rules.
