Welcome to Camping with Suzi
Fred, my husband, and I want to welcome you to Camping with Suzi, a supplement the informative but dry U.S. National Forest Campgrounds Guide website. You’ll find a variety of articles intended to help discover the delights of camping in our national forests and grasslands. There is also an assortment of photo albums on everything from hikes we’ve taken to places we have eaten and much more. And there is one section focused on recipes, menu ideas, and help for the new camp cook.
My name is Suzanne (Suzi) Dow. I spent a lot my youth traveling across the United States. Now, I travel across the country with my husband and our puppies, Dani and Ralf, researching developed camping opportunities in national forests and grasslands in a 31′ motorhome up to six months in each year.
