Watchman Trail was the most challenging hike we did during out stay in Zion National Park. The elevation gain was considerable and there were numerous steep drop-offs. Plus, this trail is mostly in the sun so be aware of ever increasing temperatures. We started out right after breakfast under cloudy skies and found it fairly comfortable. The Park Service says it is a 2 hour/2 mile hike. It felt longer but worth the effort.
