Hundreds of years ago, the six glaciers merged and reached all the way down the valley to carve out Lake Louise. As they receded to their current position, they left behind vertical walls that attract rock climbers from all over the world. While not a sport Fred and I would try, you have to appreciate the athletic talent and abilities of these wall-crawlers.
