There are hundreds of towering peaks along Icefield Parkway, each overlooking crystal clear lakes and raging rivers. Mt. Fryatt seemed to embody all of them. A beautiful skirt of dense evergreen wraps around the mountain's thick waist. Glaciers have carved several bowls still full of bright white snow even though the calendar says it is summer. Several choker-like necklaces circle the top of Mt. Fryatt with winter's snowfall. A nearly cloudless sapphire blue sky above makes this a great day for a drive.
