Large groups and organization enjoy Nebraska National Forest's Bessey Recreation Area for a variety of reasons. This large open field is one of them. If all 40 campsites are occupied, the volleyball/horseshoe/baseball fields are mustered into duty. During the week we camped at Bessey, the Nebraska Bowhunters Association held their annual Summer Jamboree. There were people and activities going on everywhere! I think they had as much fun as we did.
