Moose Lake is a small lake off the western shore of Maligne Lake. The trail to Moose Lake is up knolls and down hollows through a wooded area. Thousands of years ago a huge landslide (huge as in a billion cubic metres) blocked the valley and enlarged Moose Lake to its present size. Not as popular as Maligne Lake, Moose Lake offers its visitors a place of pleasant solitude.
