You can bring a picnic lunch or buy a little snack from inside Summit House cafe and enjoy it while taking in the magnificent views from the huge outdoor deck. This is a popular place to soak up some rays no matter the time of year. There is a little gift store if you want a post card or T-shirt. Down below, the Resort Village offers up larger meals and treats. The Forest Service Education Center at Big Mountain Resort is good fun for everyone but the real treat for me - the views.
