There are two ways to reach the Education Center on top Big Mountain Resort's ski mountain - the Danny On Memorial Hiking Trail (no charge) or the ski lift (there is a fee). Danny On was a Forest Service Silverculturist, a renowned nature photographer, conservationist and avid skier. The Danny On Trail carries on his legacy of inspiring an appreciation of nature. It is a beautiful but challenging hike. The ski lift takes a fraction of the time and energy and offers fabulous views of Montana. Your choice.
