  dsc1-bison1.jpg - On the way home, we stayed at Coal River Lodge. While having breakfast the owner/cook warned us of a free-ranging herd of bison in the area. Not five miles from the Lodge, there was maybe 50 to a 100 of these magnificent beasts causally grazing on the roadside clearcut.
