  12fairweather-view-petersburg.jpg - We said “Good-bye” to Petersburg from the deck of the AMHS “fast ferry,” Fairweather. The Fairweather began service in 2004 and is the newest ferry in the fleet. Boy, it can really move, too. It took us about four hours to get to Juneau or about half the time it would have taken the Taku to get there.
