Kootenay National Park's bears were just waking up when we got to the area. And those bears woke up hungry. Did you know dandelions were brought to America from Europe? Dandelions are a favorite food for these hungry critters. You can actually see them graze through a patch of dandelions, leaving a swath like the passage of a lawn-mower.
