During the 1930s, Camp Sherman was the center of Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) activity. This structure was built by the CCC as an outdoor kitchen facility. Preserved as a reminder of the CCC workmanship and many contributions, the structure is available for Camp Sherman campground's campers.
