The grass may be tall and the paint gone but this house was someone's home at one time. It is always sad to see an empty house. You need people living inside to make a house a home. Although it seems a little sad now, the authors think it was a happy place at one time. It looked like the people who lived here worked hard and, the authors want to think, had a good life.
