I'm going to be camping later this year at Juniper Springs Recreation Area in Ocala National Forest in Florida for the first time.
When I booked my campsite one thing it says is "Maximum of 5 persons and 2 vehicles per site."
Does anyone know if National Forests in general or Juniper Springs in particular are very strict about enforcing this (having a 6th person at the campsite)?
I've only dealt with FL State Parks before who seemed kind of lax (I'm not even sure what their maximum occupancy per campsite).
Thanks!

The occupancy number is probably specific to Juniper Springs but you should connect the Ocala NF folks to be sure or if this is a problem. I always wonder if they mean adults or does that include adults with children. Best to call to be sure. - Suzi

Just wanted you to be aware, they have the springs closed through the end of August. I was going to go there this weekend, but no swimming, so no sense of going. The lady said end of August, but not even sure about that.

As a general rule, you can expect 6 to 8 persons per site and it is usually enforced . . . Fred
