Howdy,

Last week we(wife & I) went off season camping into Arizona. Manzanita Campground is never closed and we found it through this site. Wonderful place and this is also my first attempt at posting through photobucket.[img][img]http://i395.photobucket.com/albums/pp34/vegasdesertfox/DSC_7945-Our-Site-Manzanita.jpg[/img] and[/img]

So I think I got it? Would like to hear a response from anyone. Please check my profile and I'll be happy to tell you of my photography experience and I camp & flat-water kayak on a regular basis.

Manzanita Campground: The Restroom

The truth is, I stumbled upon this wonderful site when searching for photos of what Manzanita looked like and after seeing couple of shots done by the Dow's I had to come and check it out for myself. Then I saw more photographs done by them and said to myself, hey I got photographs too. Can I share? Yes, they said and they are saying the same again through me. Share your photographs and your experiences of camping in our National Forest right here with me. If you are having problems, shoot me a pm, email or post a reply here and I'll help in everyway possible to talk you through the process of uploading your photographs to this wonderful site. You can also ask Fred or Suzi and even Ed for help. They are owners and Ed is a moderator, I'm just a retired photographer that likes to share. Come on, let's share this site together!

Welcome to the Forum! Delighted to see someone else not intimidated by the photo posting process. Look forward to seeing some of your pix...I'm sure as a professional (albeit industrial) they are going to be great.
I noticed you have the img tags showing on the first pic....not a big deal, but you can make them vanish with a little tweaking.

Ed

Howdy Ed,

:D
Thank you for such a quick response. However, I do not understand what I need to do to clean-up the img showing on the posts. Could I solicit a detailed response? And I just joined photobucket so I've got to do some house cleaning on some if not all the images I have(resize). But once I get the hang of it, then I'll be on my way to bring you as many photos as you can handle along with a little story to tie them together. Did I tell you, my wife and I are camp happy. We have a 2001 Grand Cherokee loaded with gear and ready to go at the drop of a hat! This is going to be a lot of fun, and I'm trying to get more involved in other area of this site. Most camping forums are slow but thats okay for me too, I type by the old school of hunt'n'peck!
Once again thqanks Ed!

just saw your post on Oak Creek Canyon...looks like you figured out how to avoid the tags. Here's how I do it...not quite what the instructions say..
In Photobucket, click Image Code to copy the pic.
Go to Forum
After typing text, move cursor to next line.
Uncheck "Disable HTML..."
Uncheck "Disable BBCode..."
Edit, Paste....Voila!

Howdy Ed,

Most gracious response and that is how I'm doing it too. I think you have already read that I and my better half, Paula, are tent camping happy and we can go on a moments notice from have a third vehicle that we keep loaded for that purpose. Soon I post photos of our rig. We are very organized when it comes to camping and believe anyone can be. And by now you can see I'm photography crazy too! Once again thanks for all your help getting me started. If I post too many pics(your words) let me know and I'll stop temporarily.
