Owl Creek Mounds consist of 5 mounds, built by Native People 800 to 900 years ago.

Devils Lake State Park in Wisconsin has low mounds (maybe a max of 3 ft tall ) in the shape of animals. I wonder if the 2 are related in some way....

I don't think so, Tom, but what do I know of such things - not much. What about the mounds you speak of? Associated with NFs? They sound far more interesting than what we've seen.

They are in central wisconsin, many in Devil's Lake State Park. They call them effigy mounds. They don't know why they were made.
