During our trip to Yellowstone this year, we will have an opportunity to hike Crazy Woman Canyon and hopefully camp in Crazy Woman Campground. We have a large Truck Camper on large dually pickup. I don't think that I'll be able to drive the canyon, although not 100% certain about this.

I've read that the campground has just a few sites, a 30' suggested length limit, drinking water and vault toilets - just what we are looking for.

Does this campground fill up quickly? We would be there during the week of June 13th, not on weekend.

Looking forward to everyone's comments and suggestions.

:)

It is our experience, nf campgrounds are rarely full during the week. Holiday weekends you can count on having a problem finding a campsite at any cg on or near water but again not so much during the week or a non-holiday weekend. I would think you're good but if you want to be 100% sure, give the District folks a call a week or so before arriving. Happy camping.
