This forum is a wonderful idea We have been campers for about 40 years on and off now and when we first began to camp in our old Starcraft popup, National Forests to us meant "deep dark inpenetrable jungle"where hunters went if they were very brave. We drove right on past them and used the National Parks and State Parks. It's just recently that we found Fred and Suzi Dow's National Forest information and whole new worlds have opened up. This coming spring we will definitely begin to check out the National Forests. Cherohala and Nantahala will be first. Thank you so much for this forum. Anita and Pete

Fred and Suzi,
I've been using your web sight for about a year now. When we are planning camping trips I go to your National Forests & Campgrounds sight for up to date info. Its the greatest. Thank you very much for your time and effort.

I love the idea of this message board. I'm sure it will be well used. I know I'll be checking it out daily.
Good luck..

Fred and Suzi,
As others have said: Congratulations and Thanks.
Your web site is a very valuable resource and have enjoyed being able to plan camping trips on national lands.
I have just logged on to this forum but plan to be back often.
It looks very nice
If you are connected with Moon Publishing I would suggest a searchable database from the camping guides that they publish. This would probably dictate a subscription or verification of book purchase but would be well recieved as these books cover NP, SP and commercial facilities.
Thanks again for your great resource

For opening up chat forums on NF camping. I have been visiting your site for many years now, since you started out on GORP. I work the parts counter in an RV/Marine dealership here in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I have, many times, recommended this site for information not found at Woodalls, AAA, etc. Lots of RV'ers have access to the internet. Most of my business is "snowbird" related. Some are looking for a beautiful place to camp away from the usual RV park/resort type of places. I will post further, in other rooms, my forest camping experiences here in Arizona and Nevada.
Hopefully, some of these recommendations to your site will translate to the sale of a DVD or book, or two.
