Dog Point was another spot mentioned in that Arizona Highway magazine article; it provides a different view of the land east of Grand Canyon and south of Marble Canyon. Here the clouds cast dark shadows on what appears to be flat and dusty desert. The pink cliffs at about the center of this photograph mark the east side of the Colorado River where it borders the Navajo Reservation.
