The awe-inspiring beauty of Kootenay National Park is apparent from this viewpoint just east of Sinclair Pass on Route 93. From here you can see the Mitchell and Vermilion Mountain ranges. Glaciers and the Kootenay River carved this magnificent valley over the eons. Spruce and fir trees give it that rich velvet green appearance.
