Phantom Ship is another example of lava's many forms. While Wizard Island has a gentle rounded shape formed by the eruption of bubbly fragments of lava, Phantom Ship has shape of a many mast sailing ship. The masts were formed before the lake and was probable the result of hot lava squirting through a fracture.
