Photos from a week in West Virginia
A week in West Virginia is a week of green, at least that’s what it felt like to this desert rat.
We seemed to have spent all time surrounded by green in all its glorious shades, tints, and hues.

And going up than down mountain roads.

Often following a big old track.

Mountain laurel and azaleas were in full bloom.
I realize a lot of people like Colorado’s mountains and rugged beauty but I prefer the gentleness and green of the West Virginia’s ancient landscape.

Wow! Everything’s so green! Would love to see more photos. What were your plans when you went here, by the way?
