Green Green and More Green
I admit it; I had forgotten just how beautiful the Virginia hardwood forest can be. The summer heat has past, leaving some trees looking a little stressed, but the first moist in almost two months has fallen. The colors of Autumn are only hint in a few branches. I hope these photographs convey a suggestion the reminder I was given in the Jefferson and Washington national forests.
FYI: If you don’t have your reservations for a campsite by now, it might be too late. We hear the “leaf peaking” this year will be outstanding but you probably should see for yourself.
